What to Expect During the Course?

Becoming a yoga teacher is a once in a lifetime opportunity. During these four weeks of Hatha Yoga Teacher Training, you will go through different phases.

    Week One

The first week you’ll learn to get used to studying 7 hours a day.  You will receive authentic yoga philosophy classes and feel inspired by the philosophical stories. As a result, you will develop connections and friendships with your classmates.

    Week Two

By the second week, you will have found your niche in the ashram life and no doubt see your meditation and asana practice flourish. Even if you find it difficult to keep up during ‘how to teach’ class, there’s a vast range of other classes on offer such as Gentle Yoga and Chair Yoga. Furthermore, you’ll get to grips with asana correction and modification techniques while teaching in groups of three. With concepts from yoga philosophy slowly sinking in, you may soon start to view life through a different lens.

    Week Three

In the third week, you’ll witness the most remarkable growth in terms of physical and mental development traces of the previous weeks’ hard work. You’ll be amazed at your burgeoning teaching expertise, as well as your expanding comprehension of yoga postures and anatomy. The enormity of experiences could lead to a feeling of being overwhelmed at times; however, it will be incredibly tranquilizing to exist in a cozy, amicable community without needing to stress over preparing meals and washing up dishes. Chances are you will feel the pang for your family and friends, wanting to reconnect soon.

    Week Four

In the fourth week, you will be occupied with finishing exams. You may have a blend of sentiments about finishing this course; reuniting with your beloved, transitioning back to your usual way of life and separating from your new yoga community. In the remaining days, you will be elated by an astonishing sense of achievement, assurance in yourself and emotions that cannot be articulated. These gratifying sensations will certainly bring pleasure and contentment.
