ABOUT THE COURSE
All courses at Shiva Tattva Yoga are conducted in English. We use simple and easy-to-understand English, keeping in mind that many of our students come from non-English-speaking countries.
Yes, every student receives a comprehensive Yoga Teacher Training Manual covering both theoretical and practical aspects. You will also be given a recommended reading list with optional books that can be purchased locally.
We keep our batch sizes limited to ensure that every student receives personal attention and focused guidance throughout the training.

Yes, the program concludes with a written exam and a practical assessment where students conduct a demo class. These evaluations are designed to align with Adhiroha’s certification standards.

No, you don’t need to bring any. Adhiroha provides all the necessary yoga accessories and props required for your training.
ABOUT TRAVEL & FOOD RELATED
No, you don’t have to wait. A taxi will be arranged for you individually as soon as you arrive. If another student happens to arrive within 15 minutes of your schedule, we may arrange a shared pick-up for convenience.
Yes, currency exchange facilities are available for students upon request.
Absolutely. Rishikesh is a popular international destination visited by travelers year-round. The local community is friendly and welcoming. At Shiva Tattva Yoga, your safety is a priority—our premises are secure and monitored 24/7 with CCTV surveillance.
Yes, we do our best to provide healthy and delicious meals during your stay. If you are lactose or gluten intolerant, we will provide meals suited to your dietary needs. Please inform the management upon arrival.
India uses 220V power with standard 3-pin round sockets. It’s recommended to bring a universal adapter for added convenience.
ABOUT THE REGISTRATION & GRADUATION
Upon successful completion of your chosen program (200/300/500-Hour YTTC), you will be awarded a Yoga Alliance USA recognized Shiva Tattva Yoga School Certificate
Yes. In case of unavoidable circumstances, you may reschedule your training to another program within 6 months. We require at least 2 months’ prior notice before the course start date. Please note that registration/program fees are non-refundable but can be adjusted towards a future training.
Yes. After successfully completing the training, you will be eligible to register as a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance at the corresponding level (200/300/500-Hour), depending on your course.
Students get one day off each week. You can use this time to explore local temples, visit the market, enjoy an Ayurvedic massage, go shopping, or simply rest and rejuvenate at the ashram. Local guidance for activities can be provided on request.
We highly recommend completing the full course and attending the graduation ceremony, as it is an important part of your training. However, if unavoidable circumstances require you to leave earlier, please inform the management in advance.
