Code of conduct & Policy
GENERAL INTRODUCTION TO OUR GUIDELINES
At Shiva Tattva Yoga, the importance of discipline is deeply emphasized in the practice of yoga. While motivation may change from moment to moment, discipline provides a steady foundation for individuals to achieve their life goals.
The cultivation of discipline involves consistent practice—21 days to break old habits and another 21 days to establish new, healthier ones.
Shiva Tattva Yoga prioritizes discipline as a path to personal transformation. Our guidelines at the Rishikesh campus create a supportive and focused environment for students’ growth.
Students are expected to show commitment, dedication, and discipline by following the school’s principles. By upholding discipline, we create a conducive atmosphere for self-progress and a truly enriching training program.
The foundation of Shiva Tattva Yoga Code of Conduct rests on the following principles
Respect – Respect is at the heart of yogic living. Students are encouraged to honor fellow practitioners, teachers, staff, and the Ashram environment. This also includes following traditions, respecting personal boundaries, and maintaining the privacy of others to ensure harmony.
Discipline – Discipline is essential to the yogic journey. Students are required to adhere to the schedule, follow instructions, and remain consistent in their practices. Punctuality and dedication are key elements of training at Shiva Tattva Yoga.
Community – We nurture a sense of community where practitioners support, inspire, and grow together. This spirit of togetherness creates a warm, inclusive, and uplifting environment for all.
Greeting – At Shiva Tattva Yoga, the traditional way of greeting is “Aum Namah Shivaya” with the Namaste mudra. This sacred salutation embodies reverence, humility, and respect towards others.
Admission Cancellation and Policy Compliance
The management of Shiva Tattva Yoga reserves the right to cancel a student’s admission at any time without prior notice. Such decisions may arise due to circumstances beyond our control or past experiences that do not meet the institution’s standards. Any violation of policies, code of conduct, or failure to maintain expected behavior may result in immediate cancellation of admission.
To ensure clarity and avoid disruptions, all returning students are strongly advised to contact the management regarding their admissions. Our team is committed to providing guidance and support throughout the process.
If a student falls under the category of restricted individuals, they will be informed promptly. This ensures transparency and allows students to understand their standing with the institution.
The management also reserves the right to cancel admission before or during the course if a student’s conduct, intentions, or participation does not align with the values and educational standards of Shiva Tattva Yoga, or if found to have enrolled for non-genuine purposes.
